Brilliant service. I went in to learn how to operate my new Canon camera, a chargeable service. Aaron showed me everything and waived his fee. Now what can be better than that? Beautifully kept shop. Extremely well turned out and courteous staff. And as I said, BRILLIANT service. They've been around for 67 years. That's as long as I have been alive. One thing for sure, if I ever need anything in cameras, I'm not going anywhere else.

I'm somewhat of a regular here, and have been really happy with the service! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The film processing, where they get most of my business, is quick but with high-quality results. Zero complaints

Camera Bar helped my co-workers and I pick out the best camera and lens for our use. Taking great videos for clients was our biggest concern and Aaron helped us out every step of the way. You won't find a store like this near you. Making the trip out to Hartford is definitely worth it. I recommend the Camera Bar to anyone and make sure to ask for Aaron!

A real treasure... a family run camera store. The selection of current gear is really impressive and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive. I was fortunate to meet the owner and when I asked about some old (35+ years) analog gear, he asked if I had a few minutes and then went to the back (or basement) and dug up some new (old stock) items that I was looking for. He gave me a really good price, especially considering the items were new, still in their original boxes and a bit rare. Very happy to have shopped here and wish they were in my town. The old gear they have on display is worth a visit on its own. The used counters had a nice and varied selection when I visited one rainy afternoon. Great place to spend some time and a bit of money.

Neat camera shop with a wide variety of brands and equipment. Didn’t have the type of bag I was looking for, but it definitely seemed like they had everything else you’d want as far as equipment and film goes.

I've been getting film processed/cameras repaired here for years. Even though I live in the Hudson Valley in New York, I find that Camera Bar's quality and service is unrivaled by any shops near me. Thankfully, I'm able to mail them my rolls and they send them back, but in the past I've traveled all the way to Hartford for their services. The turnaround time is really quick, the staff is knowledgeable, and I've never had negatives ruined or lost, which I cannot say for the other film processing shops I have used before. They're also much more affordable than online film processing services. I plan to continue to use Camera Bar for all things cameras, they're simply the best!

Friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to remove a broken and mangled filter from my lens. First time in the shop. Would return for my next camera purchase or repair.

I went for an international passport photo . Took about 15 minutes . The store is very unique and fitting for photographers! The gentleman were well dressed ,knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended. Parking across the the street $5 .
